Flowarts.io 2.0

Hey team,

Sorry for the radio silence recently. So much has been happening behind the scenes and huge changes are just a week or two away.

Nikki's Art of Fans course is 50% finished and she is waiting on me to set it all up on the site, which I will do soon.

Nick's advanced poi course 'Journey Beyond the Basics' is ready to start adding to the site, he's waiting on me to set it all up and I aim to release this in 3 parts which will carry on the Poi Master Series as parts 4, 5 and 6.

Also Stan is still working on his two courses, Beginner Staff and Intermediate Contact Staff. The first one shouldn't be too far away.

Why is everyone waiting on me? Because I decided to completely rebuild and redesign the elearning part of the website. Currently we use a Learning Management System (LMS) which does a load of things, but it's very bloated, hard to work with, hard to integrate with and generally not inspiring for me to use. I don't really feel proud of the system and so i don't really want to promote the site yet.

So about 6 weeks ago I started ripping it out and writing us a completely bespoke system, which does a fraction of what the huge LMS does but does exactly what we need, exactly as I want it to. It will become the foundation for the new platform and be completely unique to flowarts.io

It has been a monumental task. I have written migration scripts to copy all the LMS content over to the new system, I've written scripts to surgically remove all the crap that the LMS stores in the database. I've designed a very nice way to track your learning and I'm super proud of this.

So I just have a few critical things that I need to finish off, maybe 1 week max. Then I need to put it all live which would have been a massive job but I have automated it all so hopefully it will go smoothly. Then I will get the first half of Nikki's Art of Fans course live, hopefully start of December. Then part 4 of the Poi Master Series hopefully before christmas.

Then in the first quarter of 2026 we should have parts 5 and 6 of the Poi Master Series live as well as the full Art of Fans course and Beginner Staff and Intermediate Contact Staff.

Plus I have 2 new teachers in early discussions about how we can work together and you will be very excited when you find out who they are. Oh and Nikki is so excited about releasing her Fans course that she has already planned out her next course, haha.

Then I have a huge list of features I want to add to the new platform but that I delayed until post launch so that it can go live as soon as possible, but I'll be adding new features for months.

In other news we are just about to pass 200 signed up members of the site which is amazing and a great gift for our 1st Birthday.

Oh and once the new site and courses are live we'll start doing some proper promotional work.
